The entire month of March is Women's History Month, with special attention and focus given to International Women's Day on March 8th!
In celebration of the accomplishments women continue to achieve in the world of music, APV has launched the podcast series "Women Who Rock," where we take a deep dive through conversation into the pluses and minuses of being a woman in a male-dominated industry.
We begin our podcast series with three exemplary New Jersey-based musicians: Caroline Davidson of Ghost Harbor Music, Kimmi Heart of Reality Suite, and Sara Bruno of Fool Saint. Tune in to hear our candid conversation which touched upon points such as finding your niche, nurturing self-confidence, having your voice heard, art as activism, and much more!

Diane DiMemmo stumbled into and fell in love with Asbury Park and photography a few short years ago. An avid concert fanatic and former musician, she recognized the need for a Jersey Shore music publication to highlight the accomplishments of local and national musicians through photos and press. Asbury Park Vibes has been her labor of love ever since, along with her Golden Retriever – Cooper – who you’ll often see walking Diane through the streets of Asbury.
Kenny Bieber is a local music journalist and photographer who also highly values a good pun, quality milkshake and swears he doesn’t have too many records. He’s generally just happy to be here.
