In the realm of pop superstars, Carly Rae Jepsen has established herself as one of the most beloved with a discography full of infectious and upbeat hits and critical acclaim for her accomplished and personal records such as EMOTION, Dedicated and The Loneliest Time. It was a sheer and utter delight to witness Jepsen grace the Stone Pony Summer Stage and her set was full of pure joy and exuberant energy along with a wide selection of Jepsen’s catalog.

From her mega hit “Call Me Maybe”, to other fan favorites and live staples such as “Want You In My Room”, “Boy Problems” and “I Really LikeYou,"  Jepsen’s backing band matched her seamlessly and her stage presence and energy was consistently upbeat and captivating and her sincerity and warmth was more than evident during the duration of her performance. While there are many pop acts that one could experience live, Carly Rae Jepsen is a first-rate example of a performer with pure class and heart to match and with her excellent band, expertly curated setlist and a truly stellar stage show, this is a live act that’s truly worth the hype and a pure showstopper in every sense of the word.
