Two memorable artists at an iconic venue is always cause for celebration and when Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness and Dashboard Confessional took the Stony Pony Summer Stage, it was nothing short of a memorable experience. Andrew McMahon per usual delivered a tremendously visual and energetic set full of his trademark acrobatics, inventive props, and undeniable sense of sincerity and passion. His rendition of fan favorites such as “Island Radio” and “Dear Ceclia” which he sung with his daughter were crowd favorites and his backing band matched him to excellent effect as well. As a performer, McMahon more than immersed himself with his audience including crowdsurfing and sailing the crowd in an inflatable alpaca. His genuine humanity shined through on numerous occasions throughout the night. Credit also to Dashboard Confessional who co-headlined and also delivered a set full of intimacy and energy as frontman Chris Carrabba captivated the audience and resonated greatly with the eager audience of fans.

It’s rare when you’re subjected to not one but two memorable headliners in one night but that’s exactly the case with the Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness and Dashboard Confessional co-headlining tour. If you haven’t already it’s highly recommended you catch either or both of these artists on their next go-around. Be sure to follow both Andrew McMahon and Dashboard Confessional on all social media and streaming platforms for more shows and updates!
