Punk rock band Anti-Flag once again brought a truly dynamic and electrifying display of music to Starland Ballroom along with a roster of top talent to match. The lineup was diverse and varied with support from rising talents Ska band Catbite who have been having quite the year having toured with well regarded acts such as Streetlight Manifesto and Screaming Females, and LA punk rock band Surfbort; both acts delivered highly entertaining and vibrant performances and surely won many fans over in the process. Psych rock band The Black Tones also delivered a gritty and hard-hitting performance and brought a unique energy and flair to the proceedings. Anti-Flag once again proved why they’ve endured as a top tier live act with a truly invigorating and immediate set that more than engaged their audience. Credit also to Me First and The Gimme Gimmes who co-headlined who put on an outrageously entertaining and animated set full of unique and off-kilter covers of several classic modern pop songs and established themselves as an accomplished tribute act. Overall, it was a well-rounded and dynamic night of music that was sure to have something for everyone!
