The oppressive heat did not deter fans from turning out in droves for an evening with Norah Jones. The world-renowned singer songwriter is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Come Away With Me, the blockbuster album that would rocket her into stardom. Norah’s sultry voice swept across the open-air Mann Theatre flawlessly. When she first stepped onto the stage, she positioned herself behind the microphone to “Just A Little Bit” and whether she played piano, guitar, or keyboards, the 19-song set moved gracefully.

My name is Steve Cerf and concert photography is my passion. I got into concert photography after seeing a young Freddy Mercury mesmerize his audience at the Philadelphia Civic Center back in 1977. Since then, I have photographed countless live performances of all kinds. Located in Philadelphia, my ability to experience the show and a performer’s essence and “sweat” is what I incorporate into my images.
