JAROD CLEMONS PAYS TRIBUTE TO HIS FATHER IN SENTIMENTAL SHOW AS PART OF NORTH TO SHORE

With an engaging mix of originals, covers, and some songs written by his father, Jarod Clemons paid tribute to his late father, Clarence Clemons. Between songs, Clemons told stories about his father and how he looked up to him as a hero and inspiration. One song, in particular, brought the audience to tears as Clemons sang about his dad. Clemons himself teared up and needed to pause before he continued.

Special guests included JT Bowen, Vini Lopez, and Eddie Testa, each telling stories of meeting Clarence Clemons and how Clemons’ passion, energy, and friendship made him an unforgettable person.

The real treat of the evening was the audience. They sang along to not just the covers and the rock and roll standards but to Jarod Clemons’ songs as well. That was a sincere testament to the fact that not only is Jarod Clemons the son of a truly talented man, but he is a musical force in his own right.

Born from an existential argument between Modernists and Postmodernists, I have found my home with the post-punks and those who love a good slice of pizza. Punctum and Studium aside, I like to take photographs of people and things to see how they look photographed. While I miss both CBGBs and a cool place to bowl, Punk is still whatever we made it to be. The Future is Unwritten, and I owe it all to Mr. Bradley and Mr. Martin. Let Us Now Praise Famous Men and ask the Little Prince for his thoughts. Sometimes I'm On the Road, but if it weren’t for the honor of the thing, I’d rather walk.
