I think the best way to let you know what you're in store for with a Spirit Animal show is to let Steve Cooper explain it. In an past interview with Sun City Paradise, he said, "We do have a lot of different influences, but we also share a common goal. We look at it as a pop group with a bunch of stuff around it. The focus is the song and the energy. It’s rock and roll plain and simple, but we’re really into the big, huge anthem of pop music. We like to rock hard, and we like to make sure that there is serious edge to everything we do. We also love a hook, we love to party and we love to dance. We are always bringing it back to that central, familiar, fun energy, but always with a twist. Something that will keep you on your toes, make you think or hit you in the face. I don’t think it’s where we are from stylistically, rather than what we agree on."

on July 10, 2019This will be my third time seeing Spirit Animal, first two times opening for the Struts. My daughter is taking me for my 60th bday to go see them in my second hometown Asbury Park. They are absolutely amazing and can't wait to see them go on to bigger and bigger venues. So this will be a very special bday seeing them play The Saint in an intermit up close and personal setting. What ever they play I'll be rocking harder than all those "kids". No other way can kick off my bday than to see Spirit Animal rocking out my 50s.
