HOP ALONG ANNOUNCES SUMMER 2022 TOUR

[PHILADELPHIA, PA - JUNE 14, 2022] - Hop Along returns with their dynamic, powerhouse live shows this summer. The band will tour the East Coast, with stops in Boston, Richmond, Washington DC, and NYC where they will play Central Park Summerstage with Lucy Dacus. The band will also perform in their hometown of Philadelphia at Adult Swim’s Festival Block Party in August. The tour begins July 17th in Washington, DC and ends August 7th in Philadelphia, PA. Ratboys and Sadurn will be joining them for support on various dates. Full list of tour dates can be found here and below.

Hop Along’s last record Bark Your Head Off, Dog was triumphantly praised on “Year End Best Lists” Dubbed “Best of 2018” by Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, NPR, VICE’s Noisey, Stereogum, Paste, WXPN. They had stops on CBS This Morning, and toured across the United States and Europe and the UK with stops at BLAH, sold out shows in London, and BLAH.

Self-produced and recorded at The Headroom in Philadelphia by Reinhart and Kyle Pulley, Bark Your Head Off, Dog is, without question, Hop Along’s most dynamic and textured record yet. Crafted by Frances Quinlan (songwriter, lead vocalist, and rhythm guitarist), Tyler Long (bass), Joe Reinhart (guitar), and Mark Quinlan (drums), the formidable 9-song collection considers what it’s like to cast off longheld and misguided perceptions, yet without the assurance of knowing what new ones will replace them. It’s release saw a notable debut at #1 on Alternative New Artist Albums, #2 on Top New Artist Albums and breaking into the top 50 of Billboard’s Top 200.
