Both Shows Are Sold Out!

Have you heard about NorthToShore Festival yet? If you haven’t, you must get tickets quickly since it starts soon! NorthToShore is having its inaugural month-long festival spanning over three cities and three weekends in New Jersey this summer. It will take place in over 50 venues and showcase all different types of talent. Governor Phil Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy shared a vision for this beautiful festival to celebrate the arts in New Jersey.

There will be music, art, technology, film, comedy, and more! Some activities that will take place are concerts, film screenings, interactive exhibits, workshops, art classes, keynote speakers, stand-up shows, and conversational panels! There are events for everyone to enjoy. Some of these events are even free to attend!

It’s been advertised as too big for one city, too big for one weekend, and the festival only New Jersey could create and can handle! This is such an excellent slogan for someone who is from New Jersey! NorthToShore is an exciting festival with music and a combination of all the arts that make New Jersey great. I love that this festival is unique to New Jersey and gives pride to our state.

It will take place across three New Jersey towns which is very unique! Those towns are Asbury Park, Atlantic City, and Newark. The Atlantic City dates are June 4-11, Asbury Park is June 14-18, and Newark is June 21-25. You can click on each town’s name to view their lineups!

It will feature some local musicians and some famous names you have heard of, such as Halsey, Santana, the B52s, Remember Jones, Bill Burr, Jay Wheeler, Stephen Colbert with Jim Gaffigan, Alanis Morissette with Aimee Mann, Marisa Monte, Daymond John, Gavin DeGraw, Colbie Caillat, Natalie Merchant, The Smithereens, Brian Fallon, Southside Johnny and dozens more!

Halsey is one of the amazing artists on the list! She is an alternative artist born and raised in New Jersey, making her performances even more special. Halsey has many popular songs that you probably recognize, such as "Without Me," "Bad At Love," "Colors," and many more! She will play in New Jersey for two nights at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC). It’s located in Newark and is one of the biggest performing arts centers in the United States! Halsey will perform there on Wednesday, June 21, and Thursday, June 22.

The timing is perfect because it is right after most Jersey schools let out for summer! Halsey’s performances were so sought after that the presale sold out two months ago! Her performances are currently both sold out, but check if tickets become available. It will be a performance you don’t want to miss! If you can’t get tickets to the show, plenty of other exciting events are taking place for NorthToShore!
