Good news can be hard to come by these days. Thankfully, when it comes to releasing music, many local and mainstream artists are finding ways to keep active. Local hardcore/alternative group Still Ghost has recently released their 2nd single “Look Up” which continues to build upon the promise of their initial single by doubling down on their grunge and punk influences while strengthening their distinctive sound in the process.

Vocally and lyrically “Look Up” manages to be a gritty rocker and a high-energy uplifting anthem and the band’s core chemistry here elevates it and allows it all to feel cohesive and whole. The single has a pulsating energy and soaring hooks which allows listeners to feel fully immersed. Credit goes out to vocalists TJ Haefner and Dee DiMeola for delivering powerful and sincere performances allowing the track to gain a deeper emotional resonance throughout.

The mix of emotion, visceral instrumentation, powerful vocals and tight hooks all result in a strong and fully-formed single that builds upon the band’s musical potential while paving the way for some truly exciting material to follow.
