ROYAL HORSES RELEASE DEBUT LP
A MODERN MAN'S WAY TO IMPROVE
January 11, 2021

Royal Horses' A Modern Man's Way to Improve is an invitation to a romantic soiree toned in the unity of three warm hearts. Guiding the listener down a shimmering river of harmony and voice. This fun for one and all trio from South Mississippi is comprised of members: Shelby Kemp (Guitar, Vocals), Kenny Paul Mann (Double Bass), and Daniel Firth (Percussion, Vocals).
This ten song collection contains a proficient amount of moving parts, enough to differentiate each song into a fine tuned gear, turning an individuation of stand-alone songs that give the listener a chance to choose a personalized favorite, all the while creating a seamless running order. On the versatility of Mr. Kemp's guitar and vocals and the intuition of Mr Mann's listening bass lines as Mr Firth's percussion pockets the one.
Complementing each other with a dignity and respect that serves the songs by equating the sum of their parts into a unique oneness. While either channeling Don Van Vilet on the song "Rattlesnake Smoking a Cigarette" or a balladeer's truth on the "You Tube" only song "Nevada," the advanced range of their skills, their sense of timing and lyrical craftsmanship is the gift of maturity awaiting to awake the band's marriage of self-discovery.
May Royal Horses be blessed with enough love to keep them creating music. Music that is sincere enough to find an audience that will grow with the trio into something better and better. May the fate of the long road reward them with a future not every band can achieve. Royal Horses please stand willing at the restart. The dance is for the uncompromisable.
